How to register
The CIMC Foundation strives to bring our guests the best possible experience for An Evening with Oscar.  
 
WHAT IS IT? This year we are offering a Fast Access check-in process for all guests who purchase their tickets online or attend with sponsorship level benefits.  This dramatically improves your ease of entry at the door, and you will be preregistered to use your mobile device right from the comfort of your table.  Now viewing the Oscars while participating in our silent auction is easy, we put the control in the palm of your hand.  Auction winners will enjoy an automated check-out process thus saving time when collecting items at the conclusion of the evening. 
 
WHO NEEDS TO REGISTER?  Every guest should register prior to the event so they can enjoy a speedy check-in and get right to the action of the night.  Registration is automatic for individuals purchasing tickets online.  
 
GUESTS OF SPONSORS:  If you are joining a table please use the "Sponsor Guest" ticket option and enter the company or individual's table group name in the comments that was given to you by the sponsor. 
 
ABSENTEE ATTENDENCE:  Can't join us in Avalon, check in with us remotely from your favorite mobile device.
 
WHY IS MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION NEEDED?  Your Fast Access account is linked to your credit card to help expedite the silent auction bidding and check-out process.  YOU CAN PAY BY CHECK, but still must have a credit card on file and need to pre-notify us that you do not wish to pay by card if you win.  If you want to opt out of the auction bidding opportunity please call us so we can ensure you are on the guest list and seated at the appropriate table with your sponsor.

HOW DOES IT WORK?  No guarding items and fighting over last minute opportunities to win.  Using the registration name and password created during your ticket purchase or personal registration, you log into the auction on your phone and stay logged in.  Simply set a maximum bid amount and the increments you wish to raise your bid.  You will never miss being out bid and once a bid is placed, you will receive notifications when you are out-bid, prompting you to re-bid if desired.  It only takes a couple moments to set it up on any Wi-Fi capable device and we will have attendants available for support at check-in and the silent auction tables.  
 
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A SMART PHONE? 
We will have several mobile units at the event and bidding kiosks will be set up at the side of each silent auction area. You simply register like all bidding guests, view the auction table's offerings, and on a supplied paper notepad or mobile unit make your selections. Bid requests submitted on paper are entered by our support team and you can sit back and enjoy the rest of the evening. After you set your bid increments and limits you can always visit the kiosk attendants to check your status and increase your maximum bid amount if needed. Just like visiting individual bid sheets of the past, now you will see your bid standing for multiple items in one place!
